PANAMutyper™ R EGFR V2 is a qualitative in vitro diagnostic test designed to detect somatic mutations of the EGFR oncogene in plasma and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue samples. The kit provides qualitative assessment by analyzing cycle threshold (Ct) values and melting temperature (Tm) profiles using a real-time PCR (polymerase chain reaction) system.
PANAMutyper™ R EGFR V2 detects the most prevalent EGFR mutations reported to date, including the T790M mutation, which is associated with resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs).
Determining the EGFR mutation status of a patient's tumor DNA supports selection of an appropriate treatment regimen and can help improve survival outcomes in lung cancer patients receiving targeted therapy.
Total 46 EGFR Mutations can be detected and discriminated.
